Our office was asked by Tishman Speyer Properties to provide recommendations for the quiet environment of the NYC landmark, Rainbow Room. One issue was the iconic turntable dance floor and the noise generated by the motor when operational at various speeds. Our recommendations and designs rendered the motor to be essentially inaudible. Other services provided include room acoustic studies for the iconic spaces within the Rainbow Room.
